Friday Favorites - Popcorn

I love Chef Tony's Popcorn! Before, my favorite was the white chocolate and walnut variant. But medyo nagsawa na ako. Haha! Now, this is my current favorite flavor - White Country Cheddar! Yummy!

Happy 33 months!

Syempre late post. We had to stay the whole week last week in my parents house. The kitchen and the whole first floor here had to be painted...so we really have to leave.

Anyway, 3 more months to go and Antonio will be 3 years old...until now he is still breastfed. Haha! I think pampatulog na lang talaga nya yun!

He currently loves singing...kahit Alleluia kinakanta. =)

He knows the concept of big and bigger, small and smaller.

One time, my sister has popcorn with 2 flavors - one chocolate and one cheese - in one container. I told him not to eat the chocolate as it is toooooo sweet. Ayun, di nga kinain ang chocolate! Ang taas ng EQ =)


and I forgot to include in my previous milestones list, that Antonio is potty-trained already except when he sleeps and when we go out. I think it started last May...I am not really sure. After our trip next month, we will start training him to use briefs na rin even if he is sleeping....crossing my fingers!

7th year

Last August 8, Arch and I celebrated our 7th year of being together. Yes, we still celebrate our BF/GF anniversary. Kahit yung monthsaries namin, we still greet each other (pag naalala namin, though most of the time we still remember...Hehe)

We had a pre-date anniversary last August 6. I read the blog of Anton Diaz about Órale! Taqueria Mexicana. E since we wanted to drink and have a light dinner only, we decided to try it. 

The husband ordered Barbacoa Tostadas  and I ordered Camarones Quesadillas. Hay, ang sarap! We would have wanted to order some more kaso we wanted to drink nga so baka mabusog kami ng sobra!

We loved what we have ordered. Though, my husband was not ecstatic with their nachos, matigas daw Pero ako nasarapan naman ako! We will definitely go back there! We will try naman the burrito and the enchiladas =)

I super love my work. I work from home, I am paid, and I am with my son almost 24 hours a day. San ka pa, diba? Pero there are days pa rin (lalo na these past few days na naguuulan) na gusto ko lang magrest for a day. Parang bitin kasi ang weekend e! Hehe! My husband will just tell me, e di wag kang pumasok...ahaha! As if naman ganon lang kadali...for me.

I envy those people who can just 'call in sick' or mag emergency leave just because...for example, napuyat dahil sa gimik, absent sila the next day. Or tinamad pumasok, absent na rin.  Diba, maraming ganon? Haha! Ewan ko ba, feeling ko nakakahiya kasi to be absent diba? Minsan nga pag may sakit na ako, ayaw ko pa magleave. Hehe! When I was about to give birth, parang nahihiya pa ako to start my maternity leave ... crazy!


Di kasi ako sakitin e (knock on wood) so I was rarely absent sa school or sa work. Kahit yung sa college, uso yung cutting of classes, siguro mga once or twice lang ako nag cut ng classes....dahil parang may major exam lang kami the next day haha!

Pero syempre I take leaves naman, di naman ako martyr...lalo na pag kailangan na kailangan. Like pag may sakit si Antonio, na we need to go to the doctor. Or pag may vacation plans! =) Like, next month, I will be on vacation leave. Woohoo! Exciting!

Lightning McQueen Adidas

Last Thursday, I read the blog of Frances (TopazMommy). I chanced upon her post about Adidas for Kids. Kinilig ako grabe haha! I so wanted the Cars rubber shoes for Antonio. I excitedly showed the pictures to my husband when he arrived from the office. He immediately asked me kung san daw meron. According to Frances' blog, meron daw sa Rustan's Shangri-la. Nung nalaman nyang meron sa Shangri-la, sabi ba naman, "punta na tayo today". Mas excited pala sya sa akin. Haha! E syempre, di ako sanay sa mga biglaang lakad (praning kasi ako e, gusto ko planado lahat)...I told him, I will call first. E di ako maintindihan ng kausap ko, so sabi ko na lang sa husband ko, I will search the next day for the numbers of the Adidas stores carrying the Kids' line and sya tatawag to check if the shoes are available. So he called last Friday. Wala daw sa Shangri-la but meron sa Rockwell. Sunduin daw nya kami after office. I asked him, "sure ka?" Ang sagot, "yes, baka magkaubusan". Haha! Magpanic ba?

So, may new shoes si Antonio. In fairness naman, kailangan naman talaga na ni Antonio ng shoes kasi maliit na yung palagi nyang ginagamit =)
